Why is there a fee for an immigration consultation?
Time spent consulting with a skilled immigration lawyer can be one of the most important conversations in your life. During the consult you have the opportunity to evaluate your attorney and get key information needed to making costly, major life decisions.
You should make these decisions based on experienced advice and an accurate understanding of the laws. Charging a small fee allows us to focus our attention and invest time exploring the factors that may be important to help achieve your immigration goals.
Even if you think you have one simple question, that is rarely the case. Immigration is one of the most complex and technical areas of US law with constantly changing rules and subtleties that require skillful interpretation and analysis of many factors. What may seem like a black and white simple question, rarely is in immigration, especially under the current administration.
“Attorney Nicole Enyart recently handled a complex case for me. She and her office did an excellent job. We were hoping for a plea reduction to dry reckless on a Santa Barbara DUI charge. Ms Enyart got the charges dismissed entirely with no fines. I can highly recommend her and her firm to anyone looking for an excellent criminal defense attorney.”
